Addyson's room!!!

Well we finally finished the majority of Addyson's room. All i really have to do is hang a few pictures and my mom is making the curtains because I can't find any that match. My mother-in-law is making pink and brown butterflies for me to put as a border around the top of the room. I'm going to put up some white shelves and get a rug. I'm really excited, it turned out well. If you notice from the first and last picture Addyson has taken all the stuffed animals off in a matter of seconds. LOL

10 months and Easter

So today is a special day. Today is Easter along with my baby girls 10 month birthday. Of course it's not a birthday but she did turn 10 months today. I just can't believe how fast this month went by. I feel like I just took her 9 month picture. It makes me sad sometimes. She has got such a fiesty spirit about her.
Things that she does this month:

My dad has this singing rat with a police outfit on and a night stick and when you press him it sings the song "Bad Boys" while moving the arm up and down. Well I guess when I went to work my mom would bring Addyson over to it and push the buttom. Now everytime you start saying "Bad boys, Bad boys" she starts moving her arm up and down and kicking her feet. So we take her over to the animal and press it a couple times. She lights up, it's sooo funny.

When she grabs something she can't have, ie: cell phone, keys, paper, shoes, and I say "Addyson no", she will hold it out to me as to say "I wasn't going to play with it mommy I was going to give it to you". So I wil lgo to her and she will hand it to me, she is smart.

She loves Josh, my 13 year old brother, more than anyone. If you try to take her away from him she will scream, even when I try to take her she cries.

She has had this high pitch screech when she doesn't get what she wants, some people think it's cute but those of us that hear it every day get a little tired of it.

She likes to play games, she will go from me to someone, back to me, back to someone, back to me...and she will play it until we get tired and stop playing it.

Every day it seems like she gets smarter and smarter, I can't believe in 2 months she will be 1 year old. I feel like I just had her and couldn't believe I was a mother and now....now she will be walking and talking soon and I will wonder where my little baby went.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, sometimes I think about how it would feel if Jesus was walking among us.....healing, talking, laughing. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I think we would strive to be better people if that were the case. I know the WWJD is overrated but sometimes I think "If Jesus was sitting with me right now would I be watching this?". Anyways I'm thankful that Jesus died for me.



In honor of Easter we had her 10 month pictures taken with the Easter theme. I know you probably think, "she takes more pictures and posts more pictures of the same pose then anyone I know", but it's hard to just choose a couple, I actually took 22 so be thankful I didn't post them all. LOL Enjoy!!! She is a real beauty I must say.

One book close another book open....

Today was my last day at the company that I have worked over 5 years at. In those 5 years I have grown close to many people at work. Today as I walked out of those doors for the last time as a "co-worker" I felt like the book was closed, it was an end of a season. As much as it made me sad I realized that it was good, there was a new beginning right around the corner. I will miss that part of my life more than I thought but again it's a new season.

As soon as I got home and held my little girl I realized that the new book was being written, a book in the new series....I'm ready for this adventure and I am so excited to be able to have this opportunity to be with my daughter, home where I belong. So yes even if things are sad for a moment I know that God has HUGE plans for us and I do believe this next step will be more exciting than the last.

This is what happens when you leave your child at your parents house with your 13 year old brother. I didn't realize how much hair she has.......she has no idea what has happened to her. LOL

Our 9 month old baby girl

*I knew I would forget something*
If you say "clap your hands Addyson", she will clap even without seeing you do the motion.
She will give me kisses with an open mouth against my cheek.

My 9 month old, I can't believe she is 9 months already. Her accomplishments this month.
She can crawl anywhere and everywhere
She can pull up on anything and everything
She can walk aroud the tables or couches, whatever she has pulled up on
She can wave bye bye and hi, she even says hi when she is waving.
She points to the door of her room when she wants to leave her room instead of sleep and if you don't leave she starts crying with her finger pointed to the door.
She has 2 teeth on the bottom and 1 tooth on the top ( it broke through Sunday) her top left one is going to come through anytime.
She gets all excited when you say 'are you hungry?".
She is very head strong, she knows what she wants and doesn't stop when she wants something. I can see we are going to have a lot of trouble with that part.
We love our little girl so much, she is starting to really get her personality not to mention more hair. Lol
God gave us such a special wonderful child and i can't imagine life without her.
Here are some great pictures of her. I can't believe she will be 1 in less than 3 months, oh where did the time go.
I'm so excited about getting able to stay at home with Addyson. It's been so miserable lately and something needed to change. i really pray that everything works out and I can stay at home for a long time.

Ever since she has been able to pull herself up she loves our coffee table, she leaves her toys and crawls to the table and pulls herself up. We then have to move everything so she won't pull it off the table. She also loves her little ducky slippers, they are so adorable!

One day I walked into Addyson's room after she was put down for a nap and this is what i found. The little turkey decided she wanted to put some spice in her life. LOL From then on we have removed the mobel and also lowered her bed to the very last notch. She now throws her pacifier out along with everything else in her bed. She started crying when she would stand up because she couldn't sit back down, but now she just lets go and drops. Ha, very smart baby.

these pictures were taken probably at the beginning of the month (along with the video in the post below) this was when she first started 'almost" crawling. I can't believe how fast she has picked it up. Anyways we were playing with her in her room and i just kept snapping pictures because she kept making the cutest poses. She also mimics pretty well also. When those pictures were taken she LOVED to growl after we growled. She doesn't do it too much anymore but that was a whole fase for her at that time. I LOVED IT.

I love this picture, she is so soft and cuddly in it. i don't know what life would be without her. Of course i probably would have more luck with the shift key on the laptop that she so graciously broke, but what fun would that be? Ha ha

Stephen dressed her all cute in her overalls one day that he was off and i was working. he never thought that having a white t-shirt underneath would make her look a little bit more like a boy than a girl. Her hair just so happened to be brushed to the side also. So we went out to dinner that evening and a couple people commented on how cute "he" was. LOL It was so funny but we learned next time we put a pink or purple shirt underneat the over alls.

Addyson is so messy when she eats anything, she won't sit still so the food goes ALL over her face.

The last time she took a bath in her little bath, she just stopped fitting in it and didn't like not being very wet.

She absolutely loves to be outside! When I sit her in the grass she is like "what in the world is this stuff under me?" It's so cute, but once again it was very hard to get her to not move so I could get a good picture. Ha

I really hope she isn't like her dad and loves to play video games ALL the time

I tried really hard to get a cute picture with Addyson and her new pink piggy bank but she wouldn't stop moving AND she wanted to eat her piggy bank. It was really funny. It's getting harder and harder to take good pictures because she is constantly moving.
