2 Months

Wow, I can't believe my little girl is two months old already, seems like she was just born yesterday. She has gotten so much fun, I just love being around here. I can't get enough of it!!! She talks now, if I get really close to her face and just talk to her she will answer back in her little babbling, it's so adorable. She also likes to stick her tongue out all day long, Stephen calls her his little lizzard girl. LOL
We are working on getting her to sleep at night in her crib, last night she woke up 3 times, but hopefully it will get better if we just continue to work with it. She is really getting big, I can't believe how much she has changed in just a couple week. I love it. On Saturday we went and hung out with some friends that had come in from Dallas and she was just frowning away, I think she was trying to poop but was having a hard time with it. I captured many pictures, it was so cute. She is my little love bug and I just love her soooo much. I'm trying to cherish every moment of her little life because before I know it she will be 1 year old. I love going to her crib in the morning and seeing her huge smile.....ah breathtaking. My mom was holding her the other day and she was just screaming and screaming so I took her and within seconds she was quiet and asleep, she knows who her momma is, I love that feeling.
If you want to look at some really really cute pictures click on the link below and then click on Newborns and babies and you will see Addyson's pictures. They are sooo adorable. I had a hard time picking which ones I wanted.

It's going to be a great week

I had a bittersweet moment yesterday. I went to put an outfit on Addyson and it wouldn't fit over her head. This cute little picture on the left that Addyson could wear just a couple weeks ago is now too small. Oh how she has grown. I had another encounter this evening after her bath. I went to put one of those gowns on her and it wouldn't fit over her head either. Either my child has a huge head or the outfits have a small one. Either way it just means that my little baby girl is growing up. I'm sad and excited all in the same breath. You with children know what I'm talking about, the moments that you remember so well of when they were first born seem to be so far in the past. It's crazy how time just flies.

I'm having fun though, I love dressing her up, my favorite outfit is the one below this post in the yellow outfit and pink bow. It looks so cute on her with the little knot by the belly. She just looks adorable. She has been blowing bubbles a lot lately, I'll pick her up from her nap and she will have wet spots on the front of her clothes. She will also still have bubbles coming out of her mouth. She also LOVES the bath, oh my gosh she could be crying and crying but you stick in her the bath and she gets so quiet and looks all around. She loves it. She also loves being outside. I feel like a bad mommy not taking her out more. BUT on my defense its like a zillion degrees outside and this mommy hates the heat with more of a passion than anyone can imagine. So stepping outside is only going to happen to and from places. I did venture out at my parents neighborhood the other evening, it was 8pm and I still felt icky afterwards. But she loved it and thats all that matters. She just is quiet and looks all around with her eyes open so wide. I love it.

Well other than baby news, my Big Brother season has started. It hasn't been as interesting as the last two years but i'm hoping it starts getting that way soon. I'm obsessed with it, just not obsessed as last year, I guess having a baby your distractions are at something other than what you used to do.

My brother is still in the Philippines, its odd to think he is on the other side of the world. I'm assuming he is okay since I did get a small message on myspace from him last night. It's wierd knowing how far away he is.

My sister is coming down this week and I'm really excited about that. I can't wait for her to see how big Addyson has gotten, she will be surprised. But she has gotten a lot more fun, smiling and cooing and just doing something other than sleep and eat.

Stephen got a new job and that really excites us both. We are planning on getting a house in Dec when our lease is up, and I can't wait to decorate Addyson's room. It's going to be fun. His first day is the 23rd, it will be bittersweet for him to leave his job after 9 years, but it does open a lot of doors for us in the future so we are very thankful for this opportunity that God has given him.

Alright well on to my big brother watching, its seriously addicting.

Oh and Addyson has slept through the night the past couple nights. It's been nice, too bad it's just in her car seat and not her bed, but whatever works right?

Just an update

When people say that babies grow up before your very eyes, you still don't realize it until it happens with you. My little girl is getting so big but oh so much fun. She smiles a lot more now and not just because you touch her cheek, she will just smile at you. She is a blast and sometimes I can't believe that she is ours. Sometimes I just go pick her up when she should be waking up and hold her, I like how she pulls her legs up really tight when she is starting to wake up, and then you have to let her have her time to stretch, it's so cute. Last night she slept through the night in her carrier 11:30-7:00. I think its so wierd that she sleeps through the night in there but not in her crib. I tried her crib the night before and she woke up 30 minutes later, right as I had gotten into bed to sleep. That was a long night because I think it threw her off a little. She loves her swing and she loves to look outside, and she absolutely loves to be outside. When we take her outside she just gets really quiet and looks around, its so cute. I got her picture taken the other day, I'm still waiting for them to come back, I had to do something little to remember each holiday and to look back at how little she was. I really don't want to go back to work, I think that will be the hardest thing for me, I can't think about it very much or else it will really make me upset, I mean who wants to leave this precious little baby all day long????
In other news my brother Wade is going on a 17 day missions trip tomorrow. I believe he is going to Thailand, and the Phillipines and other places. He says he will be going through the jungle and all. I told him to come back safely and not to pick up and diseases, he just smiles and says "I'll try". I'm really glad he has this opportunity though, what a great experience. My Grandpa went to Thailand when he was in the military, he brought my mom back this really neat looking elephant statue. You never realize how much you really miss your family until they are away on a long period of time, especially in another country....be safe Wade.
Well here are some pictures that were taken, I haven't taken half as many as when she was first born. I took my camera out this morning to take a picture and she smiled so big but my camera's battery was going dead so it took a while to actually take the picture, so I only got a little smile. I was so mad. But these are cute ones. Oh and by the way she is really getting some red hair, she had it when she was born but it's coming out more, I think she will be strawberry blonde, so wierd, but I love that color. I just thought it would be more brown......

She is smiling at me

Actually I think it was daddy that she was smiling at

Our first family shot

She loves her daddy

I think this is a cute shot

Ryan

She is not even fazed by this horrid look her Uncle is giving her. She alreayd knows how to handle them. :)

Nights

I've got to figure out what is wrong with either the bed, the time I put her down, or the lighting in th room. Saturday night we brought Addyson home and she was out, so I put her by the bed, the next thing I knew it was 10am and she still hadn't woken me up. I flew out of bed to see if she was okay and she was just sleeping away. I think it was the first time I actually woke her up. She slept from 12am-10pm. Last night I couldn't get her to sleep in her crib for anything. I fed he and she went to sleep so I put her in her crib and 10 minutes later she is crying away. So then I take her and lay her on my chest in bed and she is out, I guess I fell asleep during that so when I did wake I picked her up and put her in her crib, which she proceeded to wake up and start crying again. I realized she was probably hungry since it was 3:30 so I fed her and put her back down and she put herself to sleep, same thing at 7 this morning. I just don't understand why she has a problem with going to sleep in the beginning. I'm wondering if it's becuase she is used to noise all day, and light, because I can put her in her bed in the afternoon and she puts herself to sleep. Or is it because she sleeps a lot during the day and fights the sleep at night?? it's so wierd I know. Stephen just called me and it was 11am, and she is still asleep from when she went back to sleep at 8 this morning, it was nice to get some more sleep, she wears me out.
Oh and just when I think I'm going to try the sleeping on the stomach thing at night, she pukes all over the place during one of her naps yesterday. All over herself the bed everything, it was in puddles. So now I'm freaked out again. ha

Just hanging out

She was half smiling half crying

She loves watching the lights and listening to the music

Smile

And since I haven't posted a picture of one of my favorite families I'm going to do it now, Jason, Natalie and Jackson, Oh so cute!
Natalie, where are all the pictures we took when you guys were down? I have none on my computer, who took the ones outside and inside Fudruckers????
