Our HOUSE

So I know it's not much but they officially started building our house yesterday. As you can see they haven't gotten far but this is just a days work. I'm so excited. Hopuefully we will be moving in in a couple months if there are no set backs. I just wanted to share the pictures as they are taken. I am going to love driving by it every week.

Sickness through the house

So we are a little sickie around here. I started out with a small cold last saturday and am getting much better this week. Colds never hit me that hard so I usually get over it fast. Stephen just picked it up yesterday and feels really bad today. I feel bad for him because he is always miserable when he is sick. Today Addyson started acting a little funny. Fussy and she is a little warm. I gave her a bath and she felt a lot better after that. Then I laid her on the floor and gave her some toys and she just laid there looking at me not even going for her toys. So I put her to bed and she fell right asleep. Poor little baby. Hopefully she will get over it or she is just teething. I think I would rather that then a virus or cold. We will see what happens tomorrow. She is still that happy baby though, still smiling when you laugh. It's great.



She loves her bath time, she loves to splash and have the water come up to her mouth. She stick her tongue out to taste it. It's so cute. My little water baby.


I think she is the cutest little baby when she sleeps, so calm and peacefull, I could look at her all day long.

She has been trying to roll over but can't quite get there. I took some pictures and she was half way over but her leg just doesn't push hard enough. It's so cute. I have learned to put a toy above her head so she has to reach for it. She kicks off the ground but then goes up halfway and falls back down on her back. She is getting so big, I can't believe she is almost rolling over. My little baby is growing up so fast.

That's about it, not much going on here. Very busy at work and home and everything like that. Please pray that we all get through these sickies and that everyone becomes well again!!!! Everyone have a great weekend.

4 month old!!!

Addyson is four months today!!!! I can't believe it, already four month, wow how time flies. she is such a happy baby. She hasn't quite mastered the rolling over part but she is getting close, especially from her back to her stomach. She just gets her little hand in the way.
She sleeps through the night all the time, sometimes 8-10 hours at a time. It's great, especially with me having to work.
She smiels and laughs all the time, you do anything and she is laughing, she loves my funny faces I make. We have started using a Pacie, I didn't want to but it works really well when we are out and she gets fussy. the one she likes is a Georgia Bulldog one that my dad got her. It looks so cute especially when she is wearing her Bulldog outfit. Hey it worked, they won last night.
Addyson ais so strong, she has some pretty strong neck muscles i tell you.
She is the greatest, I can't explain how much joy and delight she brings us. She really makes a gloomy day bright. I love picking her up after works, she smiles and laughs and is sooo excited to see me. It's a great feeling.
4 months of life, it seems like yesterday we were falling in love with our beautiful daughter, God is good.
Our house should be underway pretty soon, hopefully in the next week. I can't wait to move in, it will be long overdue. i'm just so excited.
Okay well it's late and I need to get ready for work tomorrow. It seems like these weekends just go by so fast.
Oh and I just wanted to mention my ticker up top. I have actually lost 34 pounds and only have 3 more til I am to my weight before pregnancy. But my goal is to lose 30 pounds after that. Its great to see the progress.

Addyson and her purple dress

Yesterday Addyson and I went to a friends wedding shower. She was so wonderful, everyone just loved her. This was her first wedding shower and had such a cute dress on. Oh my gosh she was just the cutest little baby in it. I remember when Stephen and I were getting ready to get married, it seemed like it would never get here, and now look 3 years later and one baby girl and here we are. Wow it seems like it was just yesterday.

A fun weekend

We went to Tyler last weekend and visited my sister and her husband. We had SUCH a great time and it was so nice to get away for a couple days. Dennis and Kristen took us to Cheddars on Saturday and Addyson proceeded to nap. It's great how babies can nap wherever they want. She was just exhausted from all that driving the night before. I will have to say she was soo good that night, she slept from like 11 to 7:30. I have such a good sleeper.

We also went driving around that day and just to see what Tyler was about. It was very laid back, no one seemed to be in a hurry at all. The weather was especially nice too.


So my new favorite place to go is Braums for ice cream, it's so cheep and SOO good. I guess it's good that there is not one here, or else the wight i'm trying to lose would not come off very well. we came home on Sunday and just relaxed the rest of the day. It's so hard to go back to work after a great weekend. Thanks Kristen and Dennis for such a nice time. I love your place.

A little update

Wow I can't believe it's September already, this year is almost over!!
Okay so we are officially building a house near my parents in a new subdivision. It's going to be so much fun. Yesterday we picked out the colors and all and it will take about 3 weeks to start. We are looking at either the end of December or January when we can move in. I'm so excited, I can't wait. We have been renting for almost 4 years and I'm tired of it, so it will be nice to not have to move every year. Also my first job when we move into our house is make Addyson's room the way I have always wanted to do.
We have her bedding in Amy Co-Butterfly, so we are going to paint the bottom half of the walls brown and the top half pink and then butterfly wall paper around the middle of the walls. My friend painted her name in blocks so we will put that above her bed and get some curtains to match everything. I'm so excited to actually get to do this. :)
Okay well i have a lot of laundry and cleaning to do so I will post sometime later. Life is soo crazy and busy right now. I just need to relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

A NEW HOUSE

I have some very exciting news!!! This weekend we went house shopping and I'm happy to say we are BUILDING a house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited I just can't hide it. Actually I'm a little nervous because this is a big step but excited nonetheless.
I'll keep you all posted, nothing is official yet until a week from now, but I'm praying it all works out. Hopefully we will be in our new house by Christmas. Whoo hoooooo
