I''ts Chistmas time...

Well i'm sitting at my parents house all cuddled up in their lounge chair and blanket with my mom's lap top in my lap. We are all watching War of the Worlds. Stephen and Wade both got one for Christmas.
It's been a good Christmas this year. Busy but fun. Last night Stephen and I went to his parents for the evening. Stephen's grandparent and siblings and parents were all over there. We did preents and ate a fabulous dinner. Then Stephen and I went home and did Christmas with each other. Stephen got me a ring from James Avery, some clothes, my favorite perfume, a Chi, and pajama pants oh and some sketchers. I love everything. Stephen love his ipod nano and then after that I told him he had one more present and he opened up a wedding ring. I surprised him with the same ring with an engravement on it. He absolutely loved it, and this time I actually surprised him. I was so happy just to see his face. We are married again! ahaha.
This morning we woke up and went to my parent and opened gifts and then had lunch. Here we are relaxing and just enjoying the day.

This lap top is hard to type on so I'll update again soon. It's been crazy busy lately. Just two more weeks and 'thing will slow down.

A scare

So yesterday it rained and rained and rained. It was so nasty outside.
All day the IT department at my company were keeping an eye on the bayou to see how high the water was rising. The area around work always floods and if you don't get out in time you are stuck til it goes down again.
It rose from being 10ft under to 7ft..to 3 ft..to reaching the top of the bayou. About 2:00 we started getting worried about flooding because even though the big rains had stopped there was another storm on its way. The waters on every exit out of here was flooded....so about 2:30 a lot of us decided to leave and get out before we were stuck. I had to take off my shoes because the water was up higher around my car...i think it was past my ankles...anyways so i drove out to the exit that everyone else was driving through and I thought if they could make it then my small car can make it. I'm driving through it when i feel myself stopping, so i give it some more gas and finally make it out...it really scared me.
I get to work today and find out that some guys from work were at the end of the road watching me wondering what kinda person would try to drive through the water in such a small car. As I got closer they found out it was me, and I was told that if I hadn't made it they would of laughed at me....yeah well as I was crying I doubt they would of been laughing. Anyways we got out and I heard it got higher but the next storm never really came so we didnt' flood. If it had since the water was already pretty deep it would of given our building 2ft of water. yuck! God was watching over us.
So that was my scare for the day. I did get to get a couple errands done once I got home and changed before I had to go to work that night. So it was a blessing in disguise and a couple hours of freedom.
Christmas shopping is coming along, I'm almost done with everything and pray that I finish this weekend. As Christmas is only 10 days away....wow..how exciting is that.
Ryan: Are you happy??? If you had my life, I doubt you would be posting much. But I did it just for you.

24 more days til Christmas

So it's already December 1st. I can't even believe how fast this year has gone.
I have so much to do before Christmas can get here.....hopefully on Monday I can come back to work and know that I finished 75% of it.
I'v been crazy busy at work and everything. Stephen has been sick for almost 2 weeks now, I hope he gets better soon....not a good season to be sick in.
It's getting closer and close to the new year...I can't wait to see what God has in store for us then.
I just wanted to update and let you know that everything was still the same, and we are doing okay. Just trying to stand still in this busy month.
I had so much to do yesterday but accomplished nothing, didn't feel like going out and doing my Christmas shopping, or grocery shopping...I was too tired. So all that will have to be done Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Can't wait! LOL
