Such a great day!

Stephen and Addyson came and saw me at work today, we went to lunch and showed off Addyson! She is so adorable and so lovable!!!! Here is a picture of Addyson and mommy!!!

This picture on the left is where i office...I used to have the whole office until just last week. We ran out of room so Katy now shares with me. I'm good with it because since we are "paperless" I don't need much room. Ha.

OK so I got a hair cut on 12/12/07and am just now showing you. It's longer but I like it.

New Addition to the Power family

So I have had to hold a secret in for a couple days and since it's out I'm going to share with my friends.
I think it's the season, but my most wonderful amazing friends, Jason and Natalie, are expecting their SECOND child!!!! They have a beautiful boy named Jackson and he will be 2 in May. He is going to be the best big brother ever.
Natalie I'm praying for you guys and that everything will be perfect and normal and you will have a healthy little girl...eh I mean boy or girl. LOL
I love you guys and want to tell you what amazing parents you guys are. I can't wait to see this great adventure unfold.
Stock up on those doritos and orange slices. :)

My baby is growing...

No pictures today, just wanted to update you guys.
Addyson is going from a laying positiong to a sitting position like a pro now. Last night Stephen put her in her bed to get her pj's out of the drawer, he turned around and she was standing up holding on the rails crying. She is getting so big, not my little baby anymore. She won't sit still for anything, always moving and ALWAYS talking. She sings to music and talks to her toys. It's sooo funny.
Just wanted to post this so I remember when she did all this.

Addyson is 8 months ALREADY!

Wow, our little girl is already 8 months old. 4 more months and she will be 1 year old!! You know when people told me to enjoy it because they grow up way to fast I didn't believe them, now I understand what they meant. Addyson is growing up right before our very eyes. She is a doll though, she makes us laugh all the time.
She has started crawling a little, she will go from a sitting position to crawling for a few seconds and then fall on her stomach and scoot. It's so adorable, she is adorable. She does the growl too and will do it over and over and over. She also blows bubbles and ends up soaking herself and the person holding her, she really gets a kick out of making us laugh at her. I have a couple scratches on my nose from her grabbing it and pulling, she thinks its funny when mommy is hurt, then she laughs when I say "NO Addyson". She can pull herself up but then she can't figure out how to stand on her feet so she falls back down on her butt. LOL It's so cute.
She has really changed our lives. Even though I can't sleep in or just jump in the car and go somewhere it's all worth it. I love coming home to her and having her light up and stretch her arms out to me.
Yep she is the JOY of our lives.
Here are a few pictures (especially for you Abby) I hope you enjoy. She is getting harder and harder to catch on camera because she likes to move ALL the time. She NEVER sits still unless she is asleep on one of us or in bed. Sometimes a mom just wants some cuddle time. Oh well, I guess that will be for the next one. Ha ha

So I can finally officially announce that one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Candace, is engaged to her wonderful fiance Michael.
They are getting married 8-8-8 at one of the most beautifuls churches ever.
Congrats you two and I'm so excited to see what God has in store for you in your future together.

Babbling and such

Addyson is growing up so fast. She got her first tooth last Tuesday and her second bottom tooth yesterday. She was so cranky that I had to stay home from work because we got NO sleep. It was a hard week. She is making so many more babbling noises and laughs all the time. When I come to pick her up she puts her hands out to me and then if anyone tries to take her she cries. She also has gotten to where if she doesn't want you she cries and pushes herself toward me. I love it! he he, makes me feel like her momma. I also find her pointing a lot.
She is adorable as ever, we just have a blast every single day.
She is scooting but not crawling yet, I'm sure it will come soon.
The video is from the other night when my friend Abby's boyfriend was holding her. She loved him and was mocking him. I wish it were longer but that's all I could do. She kept doing it over and over, it was soo cute. Until next time, enjoy:

First- We have an announcement to make, we have a new addition to the family.
Her name is:

Yes i got a little mad when I found her coming OUT of my Christmas TREE!!!!!! But she is a very sweet kitten and we are still trying to get used to having a kitten again. What were we thinking????

Addyson is growing up so fast, she now sits all by herself. I noticed that she didn't topple over on the 23rd of December. She tries to go forward and crawl but lands on her face. LOL She still has NO teeth but that's okay, I guess thats to my benifet. He he he. Sometimes she sleeps with us, it's a lot better than having to get woken up 3 times a night when I have to get up early for work. I know people have their opinions about that BUT I believe it's what's best for YOUR FAMILY so you do what you have to do. She is such a ham, she laughs and smiles ALL the time. Most the time we can go out and hang with friends and she won't even fuss, she is just happy all the time. I will say when it's just me and her she tends to get a little upset when I walk away from her, she just loves her mom so much. She says dadadadada all the time and yesterday while we were hanging out with some friends she said nigh nigh after one of the 2 year olds said night night, I heard it no one else did but I KNOW she said it. :) She cries when someone takes away her toy, it's so cute the way she puckers her lips up. SUCH A DELIGHT! I feel like she has been with us for years and years. God has really blessed us in 2007 and I can't wait to see what He has in store for us in 2008. I never even thought all the things would happen that happened in 2007. God Bless you all in 2008. For now I leave you with some pictures.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas from the Griffis gang!
We have been so busy this week. Wedenesday we officialy closed on our house and started the process of moving in. As of now we have everything and all that is left is to clean the apt and we are all set.
I'm so excited to be official home owners, it's a great feeling. Things are coming together, our new TV looks great! we got a great deal on a 50 inch the day after Thanksgiving and my husband is in heaven. :)
Between that and trying to un pack and get everything done for Christmas and keeping an eye on the babe it's been an interestin week. All I can say is that I have the BEST brothers and mother in the whole wide world. We couldn't of done it without you guys!

I can't believe our litle one is 7 months old, she is growing up so fast. She is more beautiful every single day.
