A long overdue update

This summer has been super busy for us.
We have had birthday parties, friends visit,first hair cuts, a beach visit, my sister, brother in law and nephew's new move and July 4th.

Let's start this blog off with my baby girl's 2nd birthday. I look back at pictures from last year and realize that Addyson is turning into a little lady. She is not that baby anymore and wants to be more independent each and every day. She has an attitude like no one would believe. From the shrug of her shoulders to her hand on her hip and let's not forget the temper tantrum's as she throws herself on the floor after a "no" is said. She has now started saying "mom" a LOT!!! She will probably say it about 200 times a day..one after each other..."mom", "mom" "mom". It's cute when she is being lovable but not cute when she wants everything under the sun and she thinks that "mom" is the magic word to get it. Again she has changed so much in one year. Next came Addyson's very first real haircut. She did AMAZING!! I was so impressed by how well she sat and how she loved it afterwards.

We took a trip to the beach with our dear friends Candace and Michael. I didn't have my camera and the phone I had been using only took really small pictures. But here is miss Addyson sun bathing




Then we had an old friend and his fiance visit from Rhode Island four a couple of days.
We had such a fun time and Addyson loved showing off.

Last weekend we were able to go to Round Rock for a birthday party for some close friends of ours. Caden turned 6 and Jack Gabriel turned 3. They had so much fun on the 18ft water slide...I got some pretty bruises too. But fun was had by all!

There was July 4th fireworks. Addyson got really scared in the beginning and then she slowly found her way off our laps and pointed and watched in awe. I am glad she realized they weren't going to get her. Ha ha

And then we have some goofy pictures. Stephen would take a picture with Addyson with a weird face and then we would show her and she would laugh hysterically. Then we would do it over and over, she loved seeing what her dad did next.






Last night I put my hair in pig tails and Addyson wanted to be just like me so I fixed up her hair and took some pictures! I love my little squirt.
